How do I cancel Grindr XTRA or Unlimited?
Cancel through the store you paid with. On iPhone, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, tap Subscriptions, choose Grindr and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and tap Cancel under Grindr. Grindr's help centre says deleting your profile or removing the app does not cancel your subscription. It also says purchases are final and non-refundable.
How do I delete my Grindr account?
On iPhone, tap your profile, tap the settings gear, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Profile, give a reason or skip, verify your email if asked and confirm. On Android, tap your profile, tap the settings gear, tap Deactivate and then Delete Account, choose a reason and confirm with Delete Profile. You may need to type DELETE. Removing the app does not delete your profile, and deleting your profile does not cancel a subscription.
Is Grindr free?
Yes. The free version carries ads and lets you see nearby profiles, chat and share photos, use tags, private albums, filters and favourites, and block or report people, according to the App Store listing. XTRA and Unlimited are paid upgrades that remove third-party ads and add more profiles and features.
